Houkago Princess (Japanese: 放課後プリンセス; lit. After-school Princess), also known as Houpri for short, is a Japanese idol group based in Tokyo. Formed in 2011, an orthodox, song-oriented idol group driving the idol scene with more than 10 years of history.

Houkago Princess performs in uniforms until 4:00 pm, then transforms into princesses wearing tiaras and elegant dresses. Houkago Princess’ artistic composition wraps up a consistent worldview of music, visuals, and live performances. Songs from the school theme are “exciting” while the princess theme delivers “high-quality” songs; enabling audiences to enjoy various expressions during the performances.

In 2018, Houkago Princess collaborated with popular YouTuber まふまふ (Mafumafu), who took charge as the composer and lyricist, for the song “Kaguya ni Negai wo”, gaining popularity as the single sold for over than 50,000 copies.

In March 2022, five members debuted as the “reborn” Houkago Princess during a solo concert in Yurakucho Hulic Theater. On August 17th 2022, they released their debut album “My Princess III”, and single “Hamigaki Lady” on June 23rd 2023.
